Hanuman Mala - Dhyana
The Hanuman Collection has been inspired by masculine energy - but it is not exclusively for men.
It has a rugged earthy feel - using materials such as lava stone, pyrite, wood and obsidian to create malas and bracelets that are strong, striking, and spiritual.
Named for Hanuman, the Hindu god that embodies the qualities of strength and valor - as well as service and surrender - this collection reminds you to carry that energy everyday into all that you do.
This Hanuman Mala is called Dhyana - the Sanskrit word for meditation.
It has been made with 108 Wood beads (6mm) hand knotted on silk cord with one knot between each seed. It has a Wood guru bead and is finished with a tassel made from the continuation of the silk cord that ties the mala - and a pendant of the seated Buddha in the pose of meditation.

Hanuman: is one of the most popular Hindu deities. He is an embodiment of service (Seva), devotion (Bhakti) and surrender (samarpan, egolessness). He is also considered an incarnation of Shiva. He is depicted as having a high chin (hence the name Hanuman) and facial features and a long tail resembling those of monkey. In physical characteristics he is shown in what appears to be 'sub-human', but he is considered to embody qualities that are divine/super human, which all of us aspire to have. He is endowed with tremendous physical and spiritual strength, courage and valor, fearlessness, high intelligence, vast knowledge and truthfulness of speech.
