Q: What Currency is on the Website?
A: In all cases New Zealand Dollars is the currency displayed and all orders will be charged in this currency.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You also can checkout using your PayPal account. You will have the option when checking out.
Q: Will I be paying sales tax on my order?
A: Pranachic is only required to collect sales tax on purchases made in New Zealand.
Q: Does Pranachic ship internationally?
A: Yes! We ship our jewelry, mists and associated products all over the world, with very few exceptions. We do NOT sell or ship Hard Tail Yoga Clothing outside New Zealand. Please check our Shipping Information Page for a guide to methods, prices and expected shipping times.
Q: How do I get 10% off my first purchase with Pranachic?
A: It's easy! Just put the code FIRST into the discount code box at the checkout stage - That's all you need to do! This can only be done once, on your first purchase with us. As our thank you to you for supporting us.
Q: Why have I not received any emails about the order I just placed or if it has shipped?
A: Email accounts have filters that screen emails for you. Please check if your email from Pranachic has gone into your junk/spam/promotions folders if you do not see your Order Confirmation email.
Q: When will my jewelry ship?
A: Pranachic tries to ship as soon as we possibly can. It depends on the status of the piece you have selected. In most cases - the piece you see on the website is the actually piece you are purchasing - we endeavor to do this in most cases. These items will be shipped 2-3 business days from ordering (unless statutory holidays fall within that period). In some cases, (with mists, etc) some making or assembly may be required, which could add a day or two to our usual processing times. With personalized and custom-made pieces, dispatch time will be dependent on the choices made in the final piece - this could take up to 7 days - but we will be communicating with you throughout the process, so you will have a clear expectation of timing. In any case, when your package is marked "shipped," you will receive an email saying it is on its way to you. (This email may end up in junk/spam/promotions folders so please check there if you do not receive it in your Inbox) See our Shipping Information page for a guide to estimated shipping times after dispatch from Pranachic, based on destination country.
Q: I entered the wrong address information on my order. How can I change this?
A: If your order has not been shipped yet, get in touch with us as soon as possible - via our Contact Us page. If your order has already been sent, we will have wait for it to be returned to us before we can re-ship it out. Once we receive it back in our office, we will re-send it again. Please\ realize that you may have to pay to have it re-shipped if it was your error.
Q: I paid for faster shipping but my order arrived after the estimated time. Can I get my money back?
A: We cannot refund shipping charges – we have no ability to influence the shipping after it leaves our premises. We rely on NZ Post and international carriers after that. If it is a rush job – please let us know and we will endeavor to work with you to see if we can help.
Q: My order is a gift, will the package include pricing information?
A: Don’t worry – you will receive your invoice via email – our packages do not have any pricing information.
Q: Will my mala look like the picture on the Website?
A: With few exceptions – your product should be the one pictured. At Pranachic – we endeavor to have the main picture be the piece that is currently for sale. In a few cases, there may be an ‘example’ photo – but this will be stated. In these cases, please know each piece is unique and often varies from one another in terms of size and color, and the variations and imperfections of the semi-precious gemstones, wooden, and rudraksha and bodhi seeds used.
Q: What is the durability of the mala jewelry?
A: Treat your mala as the totem and scared treasure it is – and it will last a long time. Avoid wrapping your mala around your wrist and stressing the cord – get a bracelet mala for these purposes. When not wearing your mala – treat it kindly. See the Love Your Mala page for more on caring for your mala. Remember that your mala has been hand tied with silk cord – which, as a natural fiber, will have a limited life (approximately five years) before it may need restringing.
Q: Can you customize certain pieces or are you able to create custom malas?
A: We can produce custom-made malas. We are happy to start a dialogue with you to discuss costs, lead-times, etc. See the page on Custom Orders and please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your requirements.
Q: My mala broke. Do you do repairs?
A. We're so sorry to hear that your mala broke! When a mala breaks, it is widely believed that your work with the piece has been completed and you no longer need the intentions held in that particular piece. But if you are not ready to ‘let go’ - we understand, and will look to restring your mala to help you release the intention in your own time. We offer a 30 day warranty on products and will restring your mala at no cost if it has broken within that time and you follow the Repair procedure (see our Warranty Page). You will need to pay shipping costs to us and the shipping costs to return it to you - but there will be no additional costs. If it has broken outside our Warranty period and you want it restrung - we will do it at minimal cost ($25-40 depending on whether tassels need to be remade, etc). You will also need to pay the shipping cost to get it to us - and back to you as well. To start the process, go to our Warranty page and complete the Repair Form. We'll get it organized with you from there.
Q: How does the Mala Necklace and Bracelet Sizing work?
A: Specifications are listed within each product description. We have tried to give a number of measures so you can visualize your piece before purchase.
Q: How do I store my mala when not in use?
A: See our Mala Care page for care and storing instructions. (You can hang it, lie it in a special place - as long as you don't stress it and you respect the delicate nature of the tassel).Try to use your Mala each day to keep your Intention with you, but remember it is made of natural materials and is a sacred piece.
Q: How do I care and cleanse my mala?
A: Visit our Mala Care page for information on caring and cleansing your mala. It should require minimum actual cleaning. There are a number of spiritual cleansing options open to you - but know that your piece has been made dedicated to its Intention.
Q: How should I choose my mala?
A: We encourage that you choose your mala based on the intention you want to work with. Check our Mala Care page for more information on how to connect with your Intention. Please note: These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any ailment or disease. Any results are the sole responsibility of the wearer.
Q: I want to purchase a piece that has "Sold Out" – what can I do?
A: This means stock is being made again. If the piece you want was a special one – contact us as you would for a custom-made piece, in most cases if you allow four weeks, items should be back in stock.
Q: I want to purchase a bracelet, but where can I find out what size I would be?
A: All of the bracelet sizes are given with their descriptions. Pratinus will fit any size due to their construction. Elastic bracelets may vary a little in size as every piece is handmade. Elastic bracelets can accommodate some size variation - but the elastic should not be stretched too far, or it will perish. The best way to determine your size is to measure a string to your desired length and tie it around your wrist. Keeping in mind it needs to slide over the largest part of your hand.
Q: I bought a Mala but I can't find it on the Website?
A: The Pranachic collection is continually changing, and each piece is unique. We will try to maintain a gallery of Sold pieces and if you see something there you us to recreate for you - feel free to contact us email@example.com.
Q: Can I spray the Pranachic mists on my skin?
A: Yes, all the Pranachic Mist ranges have been made to a concentration of essential oils that should not irritate your skin. If you have any particular concerns about sensitivity – do a patch test first. If pregnant, nursing, suffering from any medical condition, or taking medication, consult a health care practitioner before use. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Test before use. These products are for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children. Please note: These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any ailment or disease. Any results are the sole responsibility of the user.
Q: What is a hydrosol / floral water?
A: The water that remains from the steam or water distillation in the creation of an essential oil is called a hydrosol or floral water. Hydrosols are mostly water, with the water-soluble components of the plant not found in the essential oil. They usually contain a very tiny bit of essential oil — at least enough to give the hydrosol the faint aroma of the oil. They are considered great additions to skin toners and sprays, masks and lotions where they are valued for their astringent, soothing and rejuvenating qualities. Because they are almost all water, they can be used directly on the skin without dilution. We use these as the base for our mists.
Q: How long will my Pranachic mist last?
A: The Pranachic mists are made with natural floral waters and essential oils and no preservatives – and as such, kept in good conditions (not exposed to heat or sunlight), they should last twelve months. To extend the life of your mist, especially in summer months – you can keep it in the fridge.
