Earth Malas are made in tribute to the inspirational beauty and wonders of our Earth. They are tied in traditional mala patterns using gemstones and Rudraksha seeds. They have been made to be more 'robust', for wearing every day, with strong nylon thread and finished with a nylon thread tassel.

Uluru is the Aboriginal name for Ayers Rock, the sacred sandstone rock formation that rises up from the barren Northern Territory of Australia. Home to the Aborigine for more than 10,000 years, it famously changes color throughout the day - glowing orange red at sunrise and sunset. The Earth meets the sky as this sacred rock rises upwards.
This Uluru Earth Mala pays hommage to this spiritual rock of the Dreamtime people. Using Sunset Sodalite - which has the colors of the soil and sky, it has been made with 108 Sodalite beads and Rudraksha seeds (8mm) and hand knotted on silk cord with one knot between each seed. It has a Sunset Sodalite guru bead and is finished with a peaches, blues and whites handmade tassel.

Sunset Sodalite is a blend of the properties of traditional Sodalite and Feldspar. This creates an energy that stimulates the mind, enhances the ability to communicate and increases our sense of confidence/self esteem. It calms down over excited energy, helping us find positive solutions to problems and enabling us to see the deeper meaning behind our experiences. It is a throat chakra stone - a stone of honesty, that helps us to speak the truth. It also stimulates our creative abilities, connecting it to our Source energy, where creative ideas flow with ease.
Rudraksha seeds have strong positive vibrational energies and strong spiritual and healing properties. According to the ancient Vedic scriptures, they were formed from the tears (Aksha) of Lord Shiva (Rudra). They have been used traditionally by most Eastern religions for controlling stress, inducing general healing and well-being, meditation, and engendering positive changes. Rudraksha seeds bring a deep tranquility and concentration, making them ideal for meditation. They also enhance the flow of Chi in the body and help to balance yin & yang energies.
